War Room Content receives funding from the European Union

Dark Riviera AB is thrilled to officially announce the support of the European Union for the project 'War Room Content,' a European venture, a think tank, and a writing factory for European TV series.

Since March 2023, we have partnered with an incredible lineup of visionaries and organizations, including Nobel Peace Prize nominee Pavla Holcová and her Czech Center for Investigative Journalism, Reporters Without Borders, Belgium's artist think tank NeedCompany, French TV producer Aissata Sy, Lithuanian creative producer Dagne Vildziunaite, and CEE TV conference Serial Killer.

Together, we are redefining the way to create TV series, with a strong local anchor and international appeal that tackles European core values. We aim to craft content that revolves around four key areas crucial in these times of great turmoil: human security, humans and technology, humans and their impact on the environment, and unity through diversity.

Thanks to the funding from the European Union, we are able to find new ways for collaboration between different parts of society and across borders. Using a cluster method, we act as a bridge-builder between the creative process and actors from civil society, scientists from various fields, and other experts. Thus far, we have worked together with social psychologists, historians, and ethnographers from different parts of Europe to help inform the creative process. Our aim is to develop 10 TV series related to the four topics presented above over a 24-month period.
